New and fresh updates for the forum.

This week's updates have been plenty and mostly focused on the user experience. We wanted to give to new and old members a memorable sign in/sign up panel, themed with our regional crests and emblems. After some close consideration we removed the ability for new timers to use their Google credentials to sign up for the first time in the forums but we allowed the Google third party sign in for existing users that created their accounts through Google.

New Login Window:

The login window has been beautifully redesigned with a dark background featuring a satellite in orbit and a login panel which requires the email and password that users provided when they originally signed up. The login window allows as well users to sign in with their existing Google accounts if any.

New Sign up Window:

The sign up window has been beautifully redesigned with a dark background featuring a satellite in orbit and a sign up panel which requires the username, nation name, email and password that users will be using and displaying in the forums. The sign up window does not allow users to sign in with their Google accounts anymore as we've learned that the Google Sign up is experiencing issues currently.

Calendars:

We updated the UI of the Enadian calendars as well. Our focus was to create a dark themed calendar that displayed a Monthly view. The color palette was changed and improved to a dark green color with the letters displayed in a green grass color palette.

When clicking a scheduled event on the calendar, a beautiful pop-up comes up displaying important information, such as the dates, times and length of an event. Our forum users can also share these events directly with third party engines (facebook, twitter etc) or add the events directly into their device's calendars.

Newsroom:

Design improvements were made as well in the Newsroom, the area where Enadians can get the latest news from the government and government agencies. The users can navigate through multiple pages of news and follow topics. The ability to leave direct comments and react on the news has also been added.

Finally new posts are displayed on the top of the forums and forum posts. In this way the members can view directly the latest news in our forums and click to view them as well.
